As the core handling equipment for warehousing, logistics and industrial production scenarios, lithium-ion forklifts are the core power components that support the stable operation of the entire vehicle. Doing a good job in daily maintenance and standardized charging operations can not only ensure the continuity of daily operations, but also effectively extend the service life of the battery and reduce the overall operation and maintenance costs.
The maintenance points in the daily use stage are very clear. Before starting the forklift operation each time, the operator can first check the battery shell status around the car to confirm that there are no obvious bumping deformation or seepage marks, and then check the position of the battery terminals to check whether there are loose, ash accumulation or oxidation marks. If the interface position is attached to floating dust, it can be gently swept away with a dry soft bristle brush. Do not directly initialize the battery shell with water to avoid the risk of short circuit caused by liquid flowing into the circuit. During daily operation, the operator should always pay attention to the remaining power prompt of the on-board display screen, and try to avoid exhausting the power to a complete power loss state before replenishing it. Under normal working conditions, the remaining power can be maintained at about 20% to arrange charging, reducing the irreversible damage caused by deep discharge to the active substances inside the battery.
When parking a forklift every day, try to choose a ventilated and dry area that avoids direct sunlight, and do not leave the vehicle in an environment with extreme temperatures for a long time. If the forklift is expected to be idle for more than 3 days, check the remaining battery power in advance, maintain the power in the range of 50% to 70%, and then leave it standing. You can make up for power for a short time every half a month to avoid natural power loss after standing for a long time.
The charging process also has clear operating specifications. Before charging, it is necessary to confirm that the suitable charging equipment circuit is in good condition and there is no damage to the outer skin. First connect the charging interface of the battery end, confirm that the buckle is clamped in place, and then connect the external charging power supply. The entire charging process should be carried out in an open and ventilated environment. Do not pile flammable and explosive debris around the charging area, and do not cover the charging battery or charging equipment with fabric at will to avoid abnormal temperature rise caused by poor heat dissipation. After charging is completed, cut off the external power supply first, then unplug the charging plug of the battery end, and cover the dust cover of the charging interface. If the battery is found to have abnormal noises or abnormal temperature increases during charging, cut off the power supply and stop the operation as soon as possible, contact professional operation and maintenance personnel to investigate the problem, and do not disassemble the battery parts without permission. Long-term follow-up of the standard maintenance and charging process can keep the battery status of the lithium forklift stable for a long time and provide reliable power support for various handling operations.
