Job pre-entry management
All forklifts that need to enter the flammable and explosive environment must complete the special project explosion-proof performance verification in advance to confirm that the vehicle electrical components, protective structures, anti-static devices, etc. fully match the explosion-proof level requirements of the corresponding scene. Ordinary forklifts that do not meet the standards are strictly prohibited from entering the operation area in violation of regulations. All forklift drivers must go through the special project Security Training for flammable and explosive scenes, fully grasp the risk points, operation taboos and basic disposal methods of the special scene, and hold the corresponding qualifications after passing the assessment. Unqualified personnel are strictly prohibited from operating the vehicle without authorization. Before the official operation, the special operation approval procedures must be handled according to the regulations, and the coverage scope, operation time, and exclusive on-site monitoring personnel of this operation must be clarified. No one shall start the entry operation process without complete approval procedures.
Second, on-site operation and control
Before the vehicle enters the flammable and explosive core area, it needs to be parked in the designated pre-treatment buffer area. The on-site monitoring personnel will check the appearance of the vehicle, explosion-proof seals, braking system, and sound and light warning devices one by one. After confirming that there is no leakage, no component damage, and no operation failure, the vehicle can be guided into the operation area. During the operation, the speed of the vehicle needs to be strictly controlled. The speed in the flammable and explosive core area must not exceed the specified threshold. It is strictly forbidden to brake, turn sharply, and idle for a long time. The lifting operation of the fork should be kept stable to avoid the collision of the forked goods with the surrounding facilities to generate static electricity or impact sparks. During the operation, drivers are not allowed to leave the operation position without authorization, and it is strictly forbidden to place all kinds of flammable and explosive personal items on the vehicle body, nor to charge the vehicle or disassemble parts in the operation area.
III. Regular hidden danger investigation and management
Enterprises should develop exclusive weekly, monthly and annual inspection mechanisms for forklifts operating in flammable and explosive scenarios. Each inspection focuses on verifying the integrity of explosion-proof sealing strips, the wear state of electrical circuit insulation layers, and the effectiveness of anti-static grounding devices. If parts are found to be aging and performance attenuated, they should be stopped for inspection as soon as possible. Sick vehicles are not allowed to be put into any operation. At the same time, drivers and on-site monitoring personnel should be regularly organized to conduct emergency drills to clarify the handling procedures for special situations such as sudden vehicle failures and initial fires on the job site, and ensure that all relevant personnel are proficient in emergency evacuation and initial dangerous handling.
IV. Off-site closed-loop management
After all the operations are completed on the same day, the driver should smoothly drive the forklift away from the flammable and explosive core area, park it in the designated non-explosion-proof area exclusive parking space, pull the handbrake, turn off all vehicle power, and confirm that there are no remaining fires or scattered hazardous materials around the vehicle. After reporting the completion status of the operation to the on-site monitoring personnel, synchronously record and file the whole process of the operation on the same day to form a complete management closed loop to avoid various potential safety risks from the details.
