The hydraulic system is the core execution structure of the electric forklift, carrying the core operations such as fork lifting and gantry tilting. The operating state of the system directly affects the stability and overall service life of the equipment. Many front-line operation and maintenance personnel easily ignore the details of the hydraulic system maintenance, resulting in unnecessary malfunctions and downtime, and even causing job safety hazards.
From the perspective of daily maintenance points, first of all, it is necessary to do a good job in the normal control of hydraulic oil. Check the hydraulic oil level before and after each operation to ensure that the oil height is maintained within the scale range marked by the equipment. If the liquid level is too low, it is easy for the system to suck in air. During subsequent operations, there will be abnormal movement noises and lifting cards. If the liquid level is too high, it will cause oil pressure overflow and poor heat dissipation. At the same time, it is necessary to regularly observe the quality of hydraulic oil. Once the oil is found to emulsify, blacken, and precipitate impurities, it is necessary to check the incentives and replace the new oil in time. During the oil change process, the matching hydraulic oil filter element should be replaced synchronously to avoid impurities from entering the pipeline and wearing the sealing
Secondly, it is necessary to do a good job in the daily inspection of hydraulic connection components. Each inspection should check the joint position of the hydraulic pipeline one by one for signs of oil leakage or loosening, and whether the outer rubber hose has any signs of cracking, bulging, or aging. If any minor hidden dangers are found, they should be dealt with in time. Do not wait for the components to fail completely before carrying out maintenance. During daily operations, attention should also be paid to avoiding sharp objects to avoid external force scratching and damaging the hydraulic pipeline.
Finally, it is necessary to achieve indirect maintenance through standardized operation. Do not frequently push and pull the hydraulic operating rod during daily operation to avoid the system oil pressure from instantaneously hitting the sealing components. During the restart stage after a long shutdown of the equipment, the fork should be repeatedly lifted and lowered several times without load, and the residual air in the pipeline should be drained before entering the normal operation.
From the perspective of the handling logic of common problems, when encountering the situation of the fork lift card, give priority to checking whether the hydraulic oil filter element is blocked by impurities and whether the air is mixed in the pipeline. It can be restored by completing the filter element replacement and air discharge operation. Do not increase the pressure parameters of the overflow valve without permission to avoid irreversible component damage caused by system overload. When encountering oil leakage in the hydraulic system, most of them are caused by aging and wear of the seals after long-term use. Timely replacement of the seals of the same specification can solve the problem. Do not operate with faults for a long time to avoid the continuous expansion of leakage problems, which will lead to insufficient oil pressure and even the safety hazard of the fork accidentally slipping. When encountering a situation where the tilting action of the gantry is feeble, give priority to checking whether the hydraulic oil level is up to standard and whether the filter element is blocked. Do not directly determine that the core hydraulic components are damaged and replace the parts blindly, thus reducing unnecessary operation and maintenance costs.
Good maintenance of the hydraulic system can significantly reduce the probability of failure of electric forklifts, prolong the overall service life of the equipment, and ensure the smooth and orderly development of warehousing, loading and unloading operations.
